In the brume, where the cold clouds would kiss your room wall?
I hope the Ishgardians find a better place for the adventurers. Not everyone is poor.
The Cathedral seem big enough.

I want to respect OP's wishes and let the thread die, but I do want to at least clear this up. I don't hate housing topics. I hate the fact that we have to have them. Housing should be available to everyone. I was alluding to the amount of drama that would entail if (for any reason whatsoever) more housing was brought out cheaper than original housing with no differences (in the house) involved. I could care less personally because I have a house and got what I paid for by having it now, but I think we can all agree this forum would explode if this happened.
Also....I'm not sure what I said in regards to the OP that caused me to "rage against housing" except for giving an honest opinion on what I believed would happen. Just like the posters before and after me.
I just don't like being told I can't or don't know how to read.
Honestly, I don't expect the pricing to really change. The only time it's changed so far was right after initial release, when they realized that the prices they'd set were far too steep and lowered them.
Then again, I don't expect to see Ishgard housing anytime in the near future either.
I'm grateful everyday I log in that I managed to get one of the best houses in lavender beds.![]()
Housing will only cost 10000 gil, but you will also be required to pay an additional $10 a month to square to rent the house. Server bandwidth issues yo!
The thing is, housing wards aren't in the city-states. If anything, we'd see housing in some subset of Coerthas. Not in Ishgard proper.

your very first statement starts immediately negative, there's no chance for it to be anything else cause you don't allow it.
because it's true? that statement wasn't even directed at you. did i quote you in making that original statement? no.
Well, what you see as negative, others could see as just being plain true. Is it supposed to be fluffed with rainbows and jelly beans about personal housing availability/pricing just being flat out lies? Yoshi said they would be completely separate from FC housing. They did not end up being so. This qualified as a squandered opportunity in my book. I won't argue the subjectivity of "internet semantics" with you because...
You issued a blanket diss to all posters before you and I called you out for it. So now, since I speak up for myself, I was auto-magically not included to the "amazing amount of people who don't know how to read?" Even though my sentiment was basically shared by everyone who posted, which should clump me into said group??
K bro, cool story. I've wasted enough time with you for a day. You can quote that if you'd like.
that's what blanket statements are, only people who react to them are people who feel it applies to them. the person making the blanket statement isn't the person making you feel that way, you do that to yourself.
i see lots of blanket statements, i ignore them when i'm secure in my position that they don't apply to me.
