    It won't be any problems if the class is designed around having an offhand, see paladin.
    I think that is the exact issue though. Why redesign a bunch of classes when they are already working? We all know that there are a few classes that utilize an off hand. And their weapon/off hand weapon already accounts for the stats. If you were to implement this, you would literally have to rework every single weapon that doesn't currently allow for an off hand to be equipped.

    Aesthetics. Because it's damn silly for us machinists to use the exact same fanny pack for every single gun because they cheaped out on our design.


    Yes I'm mad. Bard still get unique quivers and arrows that change with their bow. It's all just missed opportunity they could've done to expand or deviate from the standard setup.

    SE can change it that for 2 hand weapons the weapon icon show up in both weapon slots.

    I remember grips from 11. I would like this.

    Something to even out the single handers is just boost shields. There's a reason some of the classes would rather two hand like mages.

    Grips could add a bunch of neat non-combat stuff like faster movement, hp/tp/mp regeneration, etc. You could really get creative with it!
