So queued up for EX roulette as sch with ninja friend. We got Fratual, and a very special DRK indeed. From the outset, he demanded that i keep stoneskin up on everyone for pulls. After explaining thta there is no need for that, due to the dungeon not being particualrly intensive and the fact that sch native mitigation abilities are enough, we start the pull. First pull DRK cant hold aggro or mitigate much damage properly. Waits before pulling again, starts the shenanigans of demanding stoneskin again. Ninja friend starts tell him its not needed. In Amongst all of this he keeps telling me how to play sch. We get to the first boss, he refuses to move unless i start stone-skinning everyone all the time. Others get annoyed at the fact he stood there refusing to pull so they pull. We down boss as 2 dps and me healing, tank outside. After this i tell him there is no need to tell me how to play sch as i know what i am doing. Tank decides to tell me how to play again, this time citing that he has seen Alexander Savage guides and they say that sch should be using stoneskin as much as possible....after explaining this isnt true and i sch in savage, he keeps going on and on and on......sigh. After too much time listening to him telling people how to do their jobs, he stands in all the avoidable attacks in the second boss, tells us if the sch cant be arsed to stonesking people, which mitigates 3-4 hits according to him, then he cant be bothered to avoid stuff. Cue more telling me how to do my job, whilst running off pulling mobs before anyone else got there. After more listening to him, he eventually gets kicked by everyone after we have to wait for loot roll to time out. Dunegon goes smoothly after that, and i gets all the commendations i could have .

I can deal with a lot, but i cant heal stupid.

Also learned that in Alex Savage, i should just be spamming stoneskin allllllll the time now on my sch. Love getting told what to do by people who have no clue about my class, let alone the one they are playing, i mean, i am only on wave 8 of Floor 2 Savage now progressing nicely on SCH........sigh.

Just started healing a couple days ago for the first time ever. Started as an Astrologian, tanked before in other mmos and a bit in this since I started playing last month. Chaining Brayflox because I like the look of the Battlemage set. Had some pretty meh tanks up until the run I did 20 minutes ago, a paladin that refused to use flash, didn't talk, or listen, didn't know the boss fights. we wiped twice before we even reached the first boss because I would get aggro with the first heal. By some miracle we make it to the last boss, and the tank yet again doesn't listen and leaves him in the poison, full healing the boss from 60% and then stops dodging the breath all together and dies. Our dragoon picks up aggro and tries to tank it, we manage to get the boss to 20% but I oom entirely and we wipe. Next try the tank pulls the boss while we run back make it into the room 1 second before it closes. Tank actually pulls the boss out of poison, still doesn't dodge breaths. we managed to down it somehow though.

Never happened to be, but to my girlfriend and my friend when I was over at his help, giving him a first-hand guide to various dungeons, being a new player to the game. They load into Stone Vigil, and I'm explaining to my friend the mechanics of the first boss. All the while, my gf is on Skype, pointing out to me how odd that the tank that they have in there has such low HP. I told her that it likely wasn't that odd, as he probably still didn't have the best gear, so she buffed up the group, and they went into the hallway to deal with their first mobs.

Immediately the tank drops. Healer couldn't even get off a heal before the tank dies. When they respawn, I ask my friend to check the pali's gear that he had equipped. Every piece of gear was DEX. I kid you not, DEX. Top it off, it was actually level 38, meaning it wasn't just gear he had laying around, he chose to get that gear. Needless to say, it was a long dungeon for them, and I felt bad that I couldn't help in any other way.

I totally want to slap that person who asked SCH to stoneskin. We don't need a friggin' stoneskin! Our adlo's mitigate percentage is bigger than stoneskin

Lol third post here but healers have the best stories right...so I'm leveling my ASTRO cause I liked healing so much I made another one so I'm in DD and I get a pally I immediately think we'll this will be a arggo kind of fight welp...

Needless to say I died at every pull I was popping healer coolaids and everything but I was getting all the arggo so the tank yells at me saying "stupid healer learn to play your role and stop taking my arggo" I reply nicely PLD guy "plz use cool downs as well as flash with big mobs also you should have the skill shield oath it helps you and me stay alive plz use it" trying not to seem like a arse at this point -_-

So he does exactly what I say but then grabs huge mobs and jumps to the bottom of the little canyon part out of my healing line of sight and dies yells at me "stupid healer learn to heal is this your first healing job" i just ignore him at this point...

We make it to the last boss he takes off shied oath dies almost instantly lol

Don't know why you even stayed lol. Don't have time for Diva Tank who blames things on others when they do something wrong since they have no idea how to play a Tank. If they don't pull threat on mobs properly I won't even heal them. Any heal I make before then pulls the mobs to me and they start screaming so I'll wait til they grab everything. If they don't they die.

o_o Thats.... a pretty bad tank. And the point that he deliberately took Shield Oath off just sounds like, a.) Had a hissy and wanted to die (because abnormal psychology), b.) Trolling you c.) [insert questioning of intelligence]

I don't think he jumped but probably ate the frog AoE. As they will push you back in the direction you are facing. Usually that would be down the canyon. That is his fault entirely.

As for the last boss of DD, the only time you really can take off Shield Oath safely and go to Sword Oath is during the pillar add(s). The boss is doing nothing on the tank or party when it's up, and I've always turned off tank stances there because DPS are sometimes slow to get that thing killed. Right after Shield should be back on. Those claws hurt even with CDs at that level.

You know I'm trying to be apart of the solution with our community I have to admit on my WHM I jumped ship a lot which wasn't fair to the other players who waited hrs to que up so I just try to roll with the punches weather I'm healing or DPSn but idk he was an idiot lol
