This is true. Etoinelle Dolet sold Red Scrips to Kaori Kanade for that price. She finds them quite easy to cap but no interest in crafting 2* gears.

Ooids are being bought at slow pace at 100k. We are missing a handful of the other top crafters on the server though. On one hand it is less future competition. On the other there are only a handful of interesting top crafter items (given the inability to sell Red scrip BIS endgoods at reasonable prices). There are literally only two of us left selling all the Thav set parts being myself and Pork Ribs.
I think only one red scrip endgood has sold in the last two weeks. Being a pair of boots for 12mil... which probably cost around 9 million in materials. One can't argue with 3 million profit, but the risk of getting the sale is still too high. For the one sale, the other 20 red scrip items listed are either rotting (and dropping in price) or were taken off the listing for personal/FC usage.

Yeah mining is popular on our server in contrast to botany. There just aren't as many serious botanists from what I've seen.

You mean the weekly currency that is designed to mimic the pve weekly currency works like the pve weekly currency? YOU DON'T SAY!?
Seriously stop bitching you can't have full BIS on every crafter already just because in the past you could drop a small kingdom's worth of gil into MB and have it.
Newer players to MMO games will likely draw from their experiences playing FPS games, GTA, Dragon Age, Skyrim, etc.. and they will evaluate a MMO based on that criteria. But other online games (and offline RPGs) are designed to be picked up, played for maybe 5 months and then abandoned for when the next big game comes along. A Veteran MMO gamer knows that the experience of the game is stretched out over years, and if crafted properly, it leaves players with some of the best gaming experiences to be found anywhere. This is the problem most content is solo and you get your group action from a cross-server queueing tool. This is not like older MMOs where servers developed real communities. It's more like MacDonald's Drive-Thru, where you queue up, do your run, then never meet those people again.
I was going ask about that too cause the prices on my server are going up but not alot has sold. I would thought slow sells would mean lower prices...
Nevermind. I get the game works for everyone else. But the point is. I get no endgame crafting armor from my Cul. Yet it is lacklustre compared to the rest of them. But the game works for everyone else and I get it. I'll be deleting before MGS comes out.
Yeah my numbers don't look like that at all lol.
I've gotten 679 NQ mats through 4 weeks using the full 180 favors. That puts me at 3.77 NQ mats per favor. Or 18.86 per red gathering token. You need 20 per gathering token to make the ratio even with the crafting tokens so I'm not far off that although obviously I get spares on some that I don't need right away and I'm short on ones I do need some weeks. That said, I got 62 HQ mats during that time. I only used 6 of them to make one crafting mat but I could easily use all my red crafting tokens every week if I chose to. I don't really have an issue with the ratio or the RNG, for the most part. I just have an issue with the time required to do favors and, to a lesser extent, the lack of useful recipes at this point.
If my server was selling those mats at those prices most people would buy them instantly. Problem is that not enough gatherers are doing favors for the purpose of selling the favor materials.
Two, and the first one was at a loss because I bought them when prices were at 150k/500k each.I think only one red scrip endgood has sold in the last two weeks.

So basically the price the materials are sold at and the price that the end products sell at don't match up? I've yet to see a 2* item sell on my server. There was an hq astral ring up on the board for 6 mil for weeks that never sold. I'm not really sure what people are expecting to buy these items for when the favor mats are being priced at what they are.
