Make pressing ESC clear chat box, pressing ESC again remove chat from focus

I'm not against this feature but I don't think it should be tied to escape.
Escape is often used to close out of windows or to bring up the settings, HUD, keybinds, etc. I can foresee myself accidentally deleting my chat logs if it were to be tied to escape.

Instead, I would propose allowing this to need a keybinding to execute, with the default having no assigned keybinds to it.

I kinda wish there was a feature to turn off the movie if you leave the log in screen idle more than a minute. Not a huge thing, but its a bit jarring to become distracted and then hear a wailing woman from across the house once it begins. I get the point of these things, but once we've seen the opening movie once, there's really no reason to view it again unless you decide to on your own.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but I would love to be able to set the quantities of materials you can get from your Grand Company. There's nothing quite as tedious as buying 99 pieces of potash/coke/hardened sap (etc) ONE AT A TIME when you need around 200+ for airship material building.

Have chocobos count as minions (Like summons for summoners/arcanists) instead of party members so we can queue for the duty finder while they are out. Why were they even implemented as party members in the first place? Just code the game so you can't have chocobos in dungeons.

Yes it does. I knew I was capped out on 100 today and wanted to check how long I had before I needed to spend some.

Map Allowance doesn't really need to be on there.

Wasn't there when the maps were first added and many, many people asked for it to be added.

Not to my knowledge. If someone's crafting beside you for instance, you'll see the flying icons (and possibly text, I don't remember) of every skill effect they use.

There used to (as in in the 1.0 days) be a Lodestone feature that allowed you to pick your avatar, including versions for events you'd participated in and the like. I don't know if this is still possible or not but it might be worth checking.

In the bottom of the audio system settings, you can mute all other players. I expect this applies to their fishing rods as well.
