This time for the vault I was finally able to bring my PLD and the SCH was new. I was i139 I believe, about as good as I can get. We had two melee though, so I figure this could take longer amongst other things. It's pretty easy to rotate a cooldown or two for just about every mob pull and have the ones you want up for the bosses.

I explained the heavy AoE damage to be prepared for and they had Eos and used WD when they needed to. They suffered a little bit and maybe it was the NIN that wasn't getting him unchained fast enough towards the end. It was hard to see while avoiding those AoEs and moving around for chess. But I practically used every cooldown I had in the fight, and Divine Veil was up at the right time too. Got down to hallowed ground to help them recover. Didn't eat a single AoE, nor got a bleed.

I do believe if you have a DRK or WAR that it helps to get their INT debuff up on him too before Altar. About the only thing I don't like in the fight as a tank is really having to move the boss more than I like because of last phase chess pieces and then AoEs showing up right where you were going to tank him. Its mostly avoidable, it's just DPS might get caught up in it if they don't react too.

In-fact I got to use Hallowed Ground 3x in that dungeon, and got three comms in the end. There are tanks that won't even use it once to help out a healer. Tank cooldowns help a lot.
