Future Plans for Gardening Plots?

I've been using gardening solely to get stuff for my choco - onions & food. I have all the onions I need and probably need 1 or 2 more batches of Krakka root to get my bird to level 20. After that time, I'll have zero need for the garden (or the stable for that matter). This is in bad need of additional content.

Gardening is fun, I wish they would add some kind of gardening log though that you can look through and see what crosses yield what plants, for ones that you've already achieved, kind of like the fishing log or something similar.

Your only argument against adding new content for gardening is because some players are making gil off of it, which is absurd and selfish. And while adding a flower pot would be great, it should not be a mutually exclusive request. There's no reason we can't ask for new stuff while also asking for flower pots.

I'd also like to see the Grade 1 soil available more easily. It's bad enough that Grade 3 is on unspoiled nodes that no one farms anymore, shit's stupid expensive.

I agree, OP, we need something to do with our gardens again. Mines been empty for awhile... the price of fertilizer makes growing anything cost more than it's worth.

I don't agree with either never getting rare items again. There are perks to having a FC house or a personal house. Just like there are perks to having a raid group, perks for having lots of gil(from gathering & crafting or playing the market), perks being in a FC that's helpful, perks for etc, etc. There's many ways to have an advantage over another player; that's just how it is on a MMO.

As for flower pots, I wouldn't be against the feature at all. But I suggest only having flower pots in personal rooms. Keep gardening within housing.

I hit the grade 3 soil nodes several times a day. I do our gardening and I feed our chocobos. It's not "stupid expensive" if you are smart enough to mine it yourself.

I wish watering the plants was less tedious. Watering 3 large gardens everyday is more of a chore than fun.

They should make it a single click for each garden, or make it so that the botanist retainer we have in our yard does something like tending the garden.

There's so many things those with gardens can grow for profit they don't need any more. I'd rather they Se implemented a flower pot system so that those with no house or FC gardening privilege can still grow stuff even if it's lower yield.

You are wrong.
Gardening offers absolutely no rewards except a few minions that dropped in price a lot.

A year ago our FC gardening plot was always full, now no one bothers gardening because it is not worth it.
Gardening needs an update the same way as whole housing needs an update.

I have empty plots as I have nothing I need from it and don't bother to grow to sell anything because the effort is not worth it ie. gathering soils.
