No thanks I'd rather not get my inprogress DPS queue wasted on a group that probably fell apart for good reason.

Then don't pick the In Progress option? Everytime I do with a DPS, it's a group that didn't properly abandon. Instead of waiting 15 minutes, they all leave after the initial. It's really aggrivating.
And if your Vote Abandon is passing 3/4 or 7/8, then obviously nobody else wants to wait either. Sorry, back to the queue.

I almost always find it faster to Vote Abandon and Re-Que than wait for a new person... (and I'm typically a DPS so that should say something...)

Being the person to do the vote abandon already counted meaning only 3 people votes are being counted, while the other 3 votes are meaningless.

Second of all, any idea how often I've joined something in progress and wound up in an empty dungeon? I really wish those groups had just vote abandoned.

Because dungeons aren't all about you.

When someone else already leaves, and you can leave without penalty, I don't get why you cannot just leave, on your own, without a penalty. You have taken care of yourself. Why should I be forced to be dragged out of a dungeon when people can leave without penalty?

Funny, on those Full and raid groups, when there have been several people leaving after their Vote Abandon spams have failed, when the replacements come in it usually turns into a smooth run. To me that says something about the crybabies that wanted to force EVERYONE out of the dungeon, just because THEY did not want to stay.

They should just leave instead of doing vote abandon. Let those that wanna continue stay and get rid of those that don't. Or when you do vote abandon, let those that vote no not get kicked from duty even if it passes.

In most cases, it's faster to leave and requeue than it is to wait for a replacement.

That said, if the vote passes, you're SoL.
