Hmmm...got the earring, some walnuts...and that's it. ; ;
No quest this time? Couldn't find NPCs regarding the event...
Anyway...its a pretty good earring for its rank...and having slot cost 1 makes it VERY useful.
Here some SS for the curious ones!

I'll just repeat what I said in the other thread about this:
.This event runs until September 20th, there is no way an event runs that long and this is the only thing it has going for it. I guarantee there will be more to this in the coming days. Kind of like the Spring Event with the eggs. We had no idea how to get the other helmets but that was because we had to wait for part 2 of the event
It may run that long if they wanna give everyone a chance to get their fill of nuts.
Anybody thinks that maybe this is Mog related? I mean with the nuts and all.
Much like the egg helmets, the later part of this quest could hold off opening up until towards the end of the month. Maybe when we start getting the meat for 1.19 patch.
I must say. I'm rather disappointed in the way this event is handled.
From what I gather standing here at the Mythril Pits. A handful of rats spawn. Everyone runs to claim, one person gets it. Often Ranged > Melee. They die in a split second and ultimately it's a claim fest; reminding me of why I don't like competition. I've had my fair share of claims. It's just combined with the unwillingness of the people here to party, it just makes things ridiculous; for everyone.
Edit: I just want to say that I'm not complaining about what the development team have done. Rather about the communities unwillingness to party. Though I know this isn't always the case. The earring is beautifully modeled and looks very pretty.

This is what you get when people don't want co-operative event like Bombard because of the "leeching" issue.
I think the Bombard problem could have easily been solved with one little addition. You need say. 5~10 of them "Red Flashes" in order to claim a prize from the NPC. The fact that you could get it just for standing around purely defeated the point of having to run after the bomb; perhaps this was the original plan but they failed to implement such a feature in time? Though I'm not sure if the coding would have been too hard for checking if a player had interacted with the King Bombard NPC.
Could this be Dalmud & Menphina on the CE cover art?
