I've recently switched to adders and im enjoying a instant to 5min pop time....meanwhile flames mael experiencing 45min+ its so sad I have had to switch and rerank just to pvp....
I'm enjoying near-instant queues right now too in Aether Adders, but at the cost of sucking in most games. I really hope the remove this stupid restriction.
Now they're saying they won't do 1v1... DEVELOPERS, do you not care about your PVP enthusiasts at all? Prove you hear us & care, please!
The jobs aren't balanced around 1v1 and they don't want to make them so. Excluding 1v1 is reasonable.
It would be nice if they would address queue times on their existing content, though. OP has 280 likes... just how many will it take?
No it isn't. Dueling isn't mean to be taken super seriously... it's there for fun with no incentive or reward.
Balance isn't a concern with a dueling system, roles are/should be primarily balanced around group-play in an MMO.
If I wanna see if I can beat my friend's MNK as NIN, why shouldn't I be able to just for the pure fun of it?
Because it's not balanced? I could care less, I just want the option for entertainment purposes.
It's unreasonable to exclude it on the basis of balance when it's easy to implement & would be highly enjoyable for plenty enough people.
I would pvp but nothing is worth waiting that long.

In the lead up to the release of Heavensward, it can seem like we're being silent or not following up on many of the topics you're bringing up here. However, we would like everyone to understand that we are listening and gathering all of the feedback you've been diligently submitting to us, whether or not we make it overtly known. The development team truly values everyone's feedback and suggestions.

This has been the only response. This is from pre 3.0, complaints date way farther back. Achievements post slaughter have been reworded. Which leads me to believe they knew that they had a big issue then. They also had a chance for a soft reset. Which I think most of us were hoping for. that 2.0 pvp would be a wasteland of GC requirements and 3.0 would be something free from it.
Yet they not only kept GC requirements in new pvp. They kept completely quiet. In all the info they gave out pre 3.0 and post 3.0 they couldn't once make a post. We are keeping GC's, it is what it is.
