People seem to be unnaturally upset about this...almost to a scary degree. I mean, I know it sucks we won't be getting these items, but some folks here seem like they've just been robbed or something.

Regardless, they did the same thing with the release of the Chinese version so this isn't some new phenomenon. It's quite a common practice for online games actually, especially when releasing games in Korea. Whether it's simply a marketing gimmick or the result of a business deal, releasing exclusive items helps boost sales in those other territories.

Seriously folks, chill out. You'll be fine. It's not like you had the item and it was taken away from you. If it makes you feel any better (and I'm not saying this is for sure their train of thought, but moreso just how I like to see it), think about it this way: it's SE's way of apologizing to them for making them wait so long to play the game while we've had it for years at this point.

It's pretty much a severe case of the envies. I'm sure some have even turned moss green! I'm not bothered by the exclusive clothing, since the event we got gave me a vest, which goes perfectly with everything else I've taken advantage of (posted on the Roe thread).

It's a slap in the face for everyone else that has been supporting SE as well. So that is really not a valid excuse.

I get the feeling you're one of those that wanted the 'foo dog' behemoth mount, too... This isn't a case of past version, this is a regional exclusive available to people in only one region, as a gesture of good will to 'please support our game'. It's a tactic that's as old as international trade. Get over yourself. And to think your name suggests you probably will have access to the dress anyway, not seeing where you're raging from.

I think most are upset because like someone else stated. It actually good, and from my personal opinion. It looks beautiful without having to be half naked. But that is just me, I'm calm. But I still find it somewhat unfair due to what we have in game as compared to what they're getting. I've always hoped I would see something like that in the game. Technically, it did come true. But it's heartbreaking that I wont even be able to use it.

It's because every damn robe in game so far is ugly as sin and more often than not has a collar or hood that clips with your weapon and hair. One jacket I had even clipped with my character's face when I put on a battle pose. The sleeves clip too! Now they finally add a gorgeous dress and a matching hat (that aren't obvious wedding clothes) and make them area locked.

I'm not so much bothered by exclusive rewards themselves as I am by the fact that this time they are a type of character customization the game is sorely missing. Like adding salt to the wounds. Imagine if they gave a long curly hairstyle for Koreans and never anything similar for other regions to use.
