Same to you stop getting defensive over a lil cash shop that's not hurting you :P anyway i'm done i'm so sick of the cash shop haters. Love it hate it it's here deal with it have a nice day^^
If "shit" gets your feelings hurt this badly, I can't imagine how you function in the real world.
Did I say I say I didn't want them to have the item? I am flipping their argument of "being childish" back at them. Since instead of understanding something is limited and getting on with their lives (like most adults), they throw a tantrum; lashing out saying that people want to "block him" from getting that item.
If you read the beginning of the sentence, you'd see I told the above poster they themselves were acting like a child, so later on in the sentence, I emulate a child to emphasize that fact with the "nooooow". Thank you for realizing that was suppose to sound childish; that was the intended effect.
In a P2P mmo, it's much better for items to be made available in game. That's what I mean by "it affects what is available for us", and why it really bothers me when people ask for more things to go on the Mogstation. The more stuff SE puts on the Mogstation, the more stuff we could have had in-game but didn't.
In what way does items that are completely unnecessary which are also completely optional affect anyone who doesn't want said items? It doesn't, and no amount of stamping your feet and demanding that your precious status items not be made available to others will change that fact.In a P2P mmo, it's much better for items to be made available in game. I don't see anything wrong with bringing her back ... again. I already did the event and got all the weapon, hairstyles, and gear.
It won't affect me, nor will I participate. I'd just sigh and say "lol how often will she jeep striking!?" I don't see how those who already did the event will be affected when they can just not do the event themselves. They are not being forced and it's not like there's going to be FF13 theme decor all over the cities.
But yeah, this is just a short term solution since new players are constantly joining and will lose out on the even ... the cycle continues.
Either this can be a yearly even to coincide with the Anniversary of FF14 ... or cash shop.

I function just fine thank you. Cursing has its place, I do it all the time. But using it in a sentence where you're trying to claim people are acting childish is self-defeating.
You don't want them to have the limited time item, and when people ask for a way to obtain the item you shoot it down and claim they're whining rather than making a request. Clearly, you don't want them to be able to obtain the item at all.
Clearly, parody is not your strong suit. Claiming that wanting the limited items is childish, and then defending their limited access through demeaning chatter is also childish.
The idea that there shouldn't be Cash-shop items in a P2P mmo is a bit more defensible, but at the end of the day I don't exactly care that much. Like an adult, if something is worth my money, I'll spend it and make the purchase. Nothing has changed regarding the service I'm purchasing from Square here, (game time). And if it was, I'd voice my concerns on the issue, and if that didn't change the situation, then I'd just stop paying for the service.
In short, I don't care about the cash shop, as there isn't anything they took away from the game time that I already paid for, and others purchasing digital knick-knacks doesn't affect me or my purchase.

People should put work into the events to get the rewards instead of paying it just with money.
The same reason why gear in MB is not equal to lv60 gear
If it come into the cash shop then please with the requirement that the character have a lv 45 battle class (the level you needed to get the last gear piece)

I was playing when the event first happened, and I got the weapons for the class I played (DRG), And other classes I planned on levelling (BRD and MNK). I didn't get weapons for anything else, because I thought it a waste of bag space and time to get weapons for jobs I never intended to level. Presently, I main PLD, which at the time the event happened was an unthinkable thing. Why shouldn't I be able to acquire the weapon for my main job?
After a year of people creating new threads when there were countless multi-page ones before it; it's gone from requesting to just whining. Heck, this was created when a "give us Lightning" thread was already on the front page. Also nice strawman you got there, want some matches to help burn it down? No where did I say I didn't want him to get the item. I could care less if SE brings back Lighting again. Maybe, just maybe it's because I am sick of people who whine to the devs to change the game to suit themselves; be it to nerf content or get some item that is out of their reach (be it too hard, or in this case limited). People can't accept that something may not be obtainable and have to have a tantrum when they can't get their cand--- err item. If the devs wanted to release it again, they would have and maybe they will in the future, but spamming the forums with post after post isn't going to do anything.I function just fine thank you.
