Those ranks aren't too bad tbh
From 25-30 you can easily level on the eyes in Nanawa or do the rank 25 dungeon for good SP
And from around 30~ you can grind grass raptors (Even if you can get a party of 29-34+ they're great SP!)
Also leves are still great SP at those ranks.
My Opinion? Take initiative and make a party. Shout in Ul'dah. Add the friends for the party each time ESP Conj/Thaum, and then next time they are online, they will usually team up. I've grinded to 50 a couple of times. It gets easier when you have a large flist and a decent linkshell.Leves run out very quickly, grinding solo is slow if you don't have at least a great setup, nobody seems to want to grind as a party, and behests can only be done once an hour and no one really does them anyways.
So am I missing a secret?
I'm not complaining in the sense that I hate whats going on, I am really just looking to figure out the most proficient way to level.
Any suggestions?
BTW, Behests shouldn;t have a 1hr timer, they were better before.
Put yourself out there and make some friends![]()
You are right, there are options available. Many more since 1.18 hit. It's just that compared to the 1-20 steamroll and the rank 40 quest sp rainfall, those ranks feel out of place. Those ranks aren't too bad tbh

The dungeon is an odd one, great sp that somehow no one wants to do.

I shout for parties, or do other things and wait for people to shout for parties. Without party flag, you're kinda screwed though. There'd be a LOT more parties if you could put up a flag.

2x Intel 520 180gb SSD's in Raid0 - 3x 28" LCD @ 5760x1200
Leves. I just get on and do them and then log off til next reset these days.
There's no rush to level up, really. Not like there's anything to do.
I have also cleared the beastmen encampments starting at lower 40s-45ish (solo), depending on what class you're playing. Archer can start earlier cuz they kill so fast.

Shouts can be rare, and rarer still is that they are in your desired level range. Until you're maybe 44+ for raptor parties in Coerthas, I am not exagerrating when I say partying was easier in XI. It makes this game painfully inaccessible and I really believe it's a major factor in why barely anyone sticks around.
I see shouts all the time in Uldah. . . for parties r37+. I haven't seen shouts for Toto-Rak in ages, which is a shame, because Toto-Rak is pretty much what the OP is looking for.
Grind Parties.. Ul'dah always has ppl yelling for them.
Leve's are ok if you are solo, but you'll never get exp/sp even close to a solid grind PT.
Plus it helps build the community.
