    3) If CMs or Devs respond carelessly to hot topics (Housing, Retainers, Scrips) people will take those as promises, which will later be "broken"

And one last thing I would like to add, the only really helpful feedback is the "Negative" feedback. I know that the die-hard fanboys get their knickers in a twist if you ever speak badly about the game, but people do have legitimate complaints.

Minus the twitter integration isn't that pretty close to what we get every patch? The standard patch contains: a few MSQ quests that you can finish in 4-5 hours (I don't have a problem with this), 1 Primal, 1 raid (Alex or the new CT), 2 dungeons to grind tomes in until your eyes bleed.

Yes, but FFXIV gets these big patches more often than the last expansion of WoW did (which was once).

In one patch, yes. The difference is that, if ARR is any indication, we'll be getting 5+ decently sized content patches. The ONLY patches the last WoW expansion got were one adding Twitter integration and a selfie tool, and one adding a raid and a daily hub. That was it, pay Blizzard another $60.
