    PvP Stat Caps i150

Accuracy is in need of testing, but otherwise all other numbers are current. Vit caps for accessories increase to 30 vit if there is a tank present, 64 for chest/legs, 38 rest.

*Some vit values are with a tank present, will edit when I have the opportunity - done

Best in Slot lists are questionable at current gear levels, not all caps can be reached for all slots at this time (3.05).

Does this even matter (I'm asking honestly)? I'm confused about something. There seems to be no gear between levels 110-180 for pvp. The 180 gear is over the ilvl 150 sync, and, even with moral, the ilvl 110 gear is below level sync by 20. So, basically, unless your PvP level is capped at 50, you don't have any PvP gear options, right? Which means we'll all mostly be using the 1lvl180/190 gear from PvE. All of which is above level sync, so, in theory, stat caps don't really matter because we're all overgeared anyway, and, with the current state of PvP gear, there's no point in trying to customize your PvP stat options short of mixing up what kinds of accessories you're using... Am I wrong here? Did I miss something? I kinda hoping so, because I think not being able to customize your PvP loadout to optimize your performance is a big pitfall of PvP right now...

Technically the 180 pvp gear should still be our best option. The 180 pvp pieces seem to be better allocated with secondary stats. For instance if you're the Februs Ive pvp'd with lately(flames) than I believe you're main class is a tank. So you can take your tank body. The 180 is stat'd with crit/det, theres no other body with that. You have the choice to meld acc/ss or cap the crit as the cap for that is 52 on chest and it currently has 48(trivial at best to cap).

Basically the pvp gear should allow us to get as many points into our secondary stats as possible, since they're caps, you can play/meld around that. Since you cant meld the pvp accessories, those will be the ones you can pick between pvp/pve pieces whichever has the better stat allocation.

Uh oh... I should probably be worried if someone remembers my name out of a pack of 72 people XD. I Hope I didn't bring the team down too much @_@.
That aside, I figured this was the case and that the pvp gear was all about secondary stats (and glamours, I suppose). I guess the only real question I have, then, is why there is no pvp equipment between Ilvl 110 (130) to ilvl 180 (210). Options seem a bit limited, and, for those of us who are still shy of level 50, we're stuck with the regular PvE gear until we can slowly claw our way up through the painful PvP grind. It's not a huge issue, honestly. I don't think I've been doing too badly with my regular i190 set (I hope), but I feel like PvP is a little too neglected by the dev team.

You communicate, and I happen to have a decently good memory.

I have no idea, I would hope/think SE is planning on raising the PVP ilvl cap to 180 perhaps with 3.1? I would like that, but a part of me wants them to postpone that a bit longer as I too am climbing my way up the ranks and when I finally get the gear and meld it Id rather not have to re-meld it anytime soon again to meet 2ndary stat caps for the new ilvl cap.

The only issue with the pvp gear and as I mentioned the melds, is that the pvp entry says "during pvp, materia bonuses are also ignored" Is that to imply any materia over the cap? or just materias themselves are not counted period? This would be a bit strange as why put pvp gear with melds and then not count them. Can anyone confirm?

Either way, unless you need accuracy, some of the pvp items are still good options with crit/det or acc+ 2nd, as some of the other gear pieces have acc/ss or acc/parry if you're a tank or something parry.

Its sad that SE neglects this part of the game content.

Under an ilvl sync (Frontlines) materia is ignored even if it's on PvP gear. The materia slots only function in PvP with no sync (Wolves Den)

Well that sucks... The biggest flaw I think tanks have in PvP is that they're often just a bit too slow to finish the death blow on their attacks, so I was looking forward to melding some extra skill speed into my gear (after I did the math to find out if it would actually get me that extra second I need). Guess there won't be a point one way or another if the materia is void during actual matches.
