Why further enhancements to market wards?

I know there is a lot of "F*** the MW I want an AH" mentality here but why is so bad they want to fix something thats broken? So i get that ppl are lazy and feel they should be facilitated which is ok but should we drop the MW just for that?

Oh one more thing most of what i have seen against the MW has been from the point of the buyer, so i ask how do seller feel about it?

Honestly, if an item is popular enough for there to be 20 or more instances of it on the wards at any given time, the wards simply can't handle it properly. When I put up HQ versions of common mats, I expect them to sit there for a while. And, since my retainers are in Gridania, depending on what I'm selling the mats could be there forever because those items might not be in demand in Gridania. Furthermore, I refuse to pay extra taxes just because SE can't properly implement a market system. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the taxes are too high. I'm saying that if I could be paying 2%, but bad design is forcing me to pay 5% instead, I'm not going to participate.

A standard MMO fearture is not an AH per se, is any functional purchase/buying system. We all know the wards are not completely functional due to the server issues they keep mentioning, once they have sorted that out they will keep streamlining the wards. I am not for or against AH or Wards, just a functional system and very good ideas to make the wards functional have come up, so why not fix whats already implemented?

These server issues that they keep mentioning have been mentioned over and over for over 8 months. What is to happen if by some miracle this game is actually released on PS3 and by even more of a miracle if this games population actually starts reaching more than 20k worldwide. It will be crashing over and over and full over and over and laggy over and over forever. Buying and selling still will take forever even if server issues are fixed because there is all this running back and forth to purchase each item you want to purchase.

Exactly. At this point they should atleast tell us why we continue to limp along with this terrible system. A larger population is only going to break it worse.

Draco said it all, it is what it is with only a few players now... idk why so many ppl is against an AH, why not making a AH and keep MW? Works for both sides, i dont dislike MW, it as many flaws but also as many +, but i dont think its gona handle all the players when ps3 release.

I'd like it if they at least met us halfway, and made it to where the MWs were still there but you could buy and sell from the search window if you wanted too. Selling would work as it already does, but you would just trade the items to your retainer through the search window (of course that would mean that you'd have to already have a retainer in the MWs though.)

Other than this type of idea, the next thing would then be to scrap the MWs and add a AH. Yes yes I know, I want a convenience window not an actual AH. Whatever the case, just make it to where I can search with different categories than we currently have (like gladiator, or quest items, or by level of gear) and show a list of all available types of a specific item (thats specific as in Dork helmet +3 not just all Dork helmets). I understand people dont want a price history, but how about a last time something was ever sold history. This way you can look and see if anyone even makes item X anymore or if you should go find a crafter and specifically request it be made. And other than that just make sure I can simply buy and sell.

Running back and forth could be left to the immersion freaks and people who think chores are an acceptable fun pass time. Then people with common sence who would rather spend the time they are investing in running and zoning into other things like killing stuff would be happy too.
