UFO spotted in Sea of Clouds - The Truth is out there

I'm guessing that it's the Lunar Whale.

I know many people have speculated this, but a member of my FC actually found that it appears during the weather pattern "Lunar Wind." So, that could be a confirmation? Possibly? Regardless, that ship is important and will most likely appear in the story at some point in the future.

Unfortunately, it may have appeared during that time, but it has a regular travel schedule, which isn't locked to the weather patterns. Also, it's "Umbral Wind" and has nothing to do with the moon, instead having to do with the Umbral aspect of aether, dealing with recovery and rest (which, yeah, the rest bit sounds odd in that context, but the world is resting, not the wind, so yeah...).

In the Churning Mists, it appears right-of-center off the northern edge of the map from 4:00am to 7:30am Eorzea Time, bearing due south before slowly shifting its course eastward, then shifting its course northeast, where it begins sinking beneath the clouds. At all other times during the early evening to early morning it can be seen idling below the center of the map, marked by the purple-pink lights shining through the cloud cover. As it is too bright during the day to see its lights beneath the clouds, I can only assume that it remains idle there.

I have not tracked its movements in the Sea of Clouds, although I have seen it there. I've heard rumors of it in Azys Lla, but have never seen it there, personally, so I wouldn't put much stock in that.

In Sea of Clouds it starts around the northwest edge of the map, by the zone transition to Coerthas Western Highlands. Not sure about time.
