Skill/Spell Speed and DoTs

Same here considering SE made a big deal about how they had made the stat worthwhile by doing this.

It has been made worthwhile but only for DoT-heavy jobs (DoTs make up for >70% of the job's damage). If it was any stronger, Det would become useless. SE balanced it so that skill/spell speed has a greater effect than Det on DoTs, but only just enough to make it more worthwhile for specific jobs. Burst-heavy jobs are still going to want to focus on Crit and Det.

So you're saying, despite it making no difference for 1 dot (the faster speed test also had 5 higher prime stat lol), that a job with multiple dots would actually come out ahead? OK then.

1 dot x 0 boost = 0 difference.
