Whip while cool are a bit boring after a while , how many "cool" whips could SE design....

BST dual axe (because another dual weild class is needed!) , "call beast" , chains that boost pet dmg done , pet attacks that make the BST proc something and some support (Crit buff since only DRG have it)

Crab - Courier Carrie Tank PLD , debuff str

Tiger - Saber Siravarde - Single target

Rabbit - Keeneared Steffi - Aoe - Whirlwind claws

Mandragora , crawler , Pugil , ect plenty of options

I would rather they change it to a more dynamic system where you have to get your own monster in the open world (with obvious restrictions on certain types of monsters and bosses). These monsters all come with a preset skill actions i.e 4-6 moves similar to the pets for smn and sch and differ from which genus they come from but nothing too crazy. For example, all Coeurl, regardless of level and type will all have the same moveset. The difference is only aesthetic. However the difference between a "coerul" type monster and a "wolf" type monster will differ. The monsters don't fall into any specific category within the trinity but their skills will hint as to which way they leans to.

You get monsters by weakening them to low hp and use the move "Tame" for a chance to get them. Once you have tamed the monster it would replace your current one. It would also take on your level and its stats will scale with yours similar to how the pets work for smn. You can only hold on to one at any given time but can always go back to get previous ones and as you level to cap getting monsters from earlier levels will be much easier.

The first lvl 30 quest would start you off with a Mandragora and from there you work your way up. Since this is a Beastmaster job they will only be restricted to "beast" type monsters and "small" monsters like the Mandragora. I would prefer that they include a tier system with obvious hierarchies for monsters. This would have no effect on causal and mid-core content but for endgame raids you generally want the best and the low-tier monsters will have to work a lot harder and perform more optimally to achieve the same result you can with a high-tier monster. Unless you want to get world first with a Mandragora.

TLDR: yeah I agree with the whip and have too much time on my hands. I even made concept art on the class but that's more for personal use.
