    And pls stop relying so heavily on the 10 levels and mountains of gear not making a difference. They don't make the fight auto-complete, but plenty of people have pointed out very specifically how it makes the fight significantly easier.
    And I am going to keep pointing out, in response, that if it's the instakill mechanics that you're having trouble with, none of those extra stats are actually helpful.

    So just "getgud" at those mechanics. They aren't like landslide/wotl where latency or a brief moment of indecisiveness can kill you; as long as you know what you're doing you're fine. God forbid you have to learn like 2 mechanics to clear a fight... So circling way back around, what is the reason for it to be mechanically nerfed? There's no one that can't clear if they're actually half-trying (people are clearing with healers...) so there's nothing really necessitating a change. If you take out those mechanics it doesn't just make the fight a little less hard; it makes it practically unlosable unless you literally have multiple people autorunning into walls. All you want is to have the fight cleared for no effort so you can get rewards that you don't even care about. That's not a reason, it's an impulsive (and rather selfish and entitled) desire for things around you to spontaneously change to suit your whims.

    If you're having trouble with the instakills there's nothing preventing you from not having trouble with the instakills after a minute or two of discussion with your group - or just having read a guide. Meteors are lol-tastically easy, just don't drop them on each other.

    Yeah, the Coil completion figures definitely showed that

    Anyway, you keep on with insisting that old stuff needs to stay difficult for Reasons even in a game that constantly pushes "out with the old, in with the new" on us

    All you want is to have the fight cleared for no effort so you can get rewards that you don't even care about.
    Excuse me, but I did say I wanted to experience the rest of the storyline. Are you even reading?

    For that matter, you keep bringing up meteors, even though I've never mentioned meteors as being problematic. For me it's usually just getting knocked into the wall over and over and dying (the whole instadeath if you touch the wall in T5/9/13 is really stupid, for that matter, which is exactly why I brought up the whole Silver Surfer thing)

    Oh you mean the clear rates that were estimated by the fans based on lodestone information when the fight was current? Yeah, super relevant to how easy it is to clear as a lvl 60, (especially when the people who did the analysis advised everyone to take it with a grain of salt, but let's just willfully ignore that because reasons)

    No, OP and probably the majority of the player base should be playing twitter instead. That difficulty is just right for them and they can still play pretend friends where they be polite to each other and yet somehow can't help each other complete things.

    Even unsynced at 60, any meteors exploding = instant death (which is absurd). By comparison, the Manipulator wasn't this convoluted to figure out the first time. There's no reason for Second Coil to be any more punishing than normal mode Alexander.
    Took us an hour to do it unsynced, with half the group not knowing what was going on.

    Reading the replies this thread shows the vicious elitism that plagues the endgame. There's no other reason you'd be so hostile to a change (to an unreasonable fight mechanic) that makes the story mode accessible, since the loot rewards are rendered obsolete by Heavensward Main Scenario quests.
