Yes, but your "ADDING TO THE STORY"

The story is: "What Logical Reason would I have to do X."

The artifact cloths all look like something anyone could wear. In fact it would make sense to on some occations.

So, here we have something completely different. My awnser was simple.

"What is stopping me from putting it on?" Simple. There some kind of magical faerie that is stopping a scholar from putting on a black mage robe and walking around? No.

Will townspeople go nuts? No. You are wearing a robe like most mages.

If a mage wore plate, who cares? Would that cause an uproar. No.

So, Logically. It makes sense to allow it.

Fight that if you wish, I want to hear your replies.

They also do not say a word when you magically raise dead people and blow things up with spells. Your point?

Then we should allow white mages to cast all black mage spells as well, since if your character has both leveld, it makes sense, right?

this is just how glamour system works, but feel free to cry and whine to SE and hope they change it, But they won't, so you wont be seeing paladins running around in full WHm robes.

Now you're just being deliberately obtuse. I'm not going to waste my time bothering to try to explain why the two things aren't the same at all if you honestly believe that they're equivalent.

It's me that is wasting my time, if you fail to realize why certain things do not make sense, while others do. This topic is a simple case of " i want everything!" which are a dime a dozen.

WHy can we wear swimsuits tanking but not a full set of MNK AF as a PLD? because video games.

Now you're just being silly. Glamours do not affect combat or gameplay in any manner. They are simply for fun, and a way to make your character unique.

Based on what is being asked in this topic Uniqness is not allowed as allowing everyone to wear everything defeats just that.

And no, i was not being "silly" as that went right over your head missing the point.

I really desire for some heavy armor on my mages. Tanks can wear bikinis and God knows what else. I just really want to make my mage look like an old school Ultima Online tank mage.

Beyond that, I would like to be able to glamour hooded robes. I would love to look like a Sith. Or have my NIN have a hooded robe, but that's not happening either.

Also, has anyone realized how few eyepatches were available for mages? There was like the Odin one and one dropped from a level 50 dungeon. That was it I think. There's finally a low level one that can be dyed on the marketboard, so I'm assuming Heavensward added that as a new crafted item.
