What is preventing me from doing it? Is there some magical force stopping me from dressing like one?show me a fireman wearing a police uniform driving a firetruck.
show me a US Marine wearing a Canadian Mountie outfit.
show me a Buckingham Palace Guard standing guard wearing nursing scrubs.
show me a Chicago Bulls player wearing a a Chicago Cubs jersey during an NBA game.
Its clothes. I can put on a ladies dress/bra if I want.
Reminds me of that thread were people were begging to allow male cross dressing, Some things simply do not make sense.
But you're right you know, Next time i decide to go to a store i'm going to dress as a wizard, that certainly shouldn't raise any alarms nor will anyone look at me strange and wondering why i am swinging a staff around.
Your argument makes no sense in a game where you can do all of your quests in your underwear if you want and the NPCs won't say a word.Reminds me of that thread were people were begging to allow male cross dressing, Some things simply do not make sense.

Now you're just being deliberately obtuse. I'm not going to waste my time bothering to try to explain why the two things aren't the same at all if you honestly believe that they're equivalent.
It's me that is wasting my time, if you fail to realize why certain things do not make sense, while others do. This topic is a simple case of " i want everything!" which are a dime a dozen.
WHy can we wear swimsuits tanking but not a full set of MNK AF as a PLD? because video games.
Yes, but your "ADDING TO THE STORY"
The story is: "What Logical Reason would I have to do X."
The artifact cloths all look like something anyone could wear. In fact it would make sense to on some occations.
So, here we have something completely different. My awnser was simple.
"What is stopping me from putting it on?" Simple. There some kind of magical faerie that is stopping a scholar from putting on a black mage robe and walking around? No.
Will townspeople go nuts? No. You are wearing a robe like most mages.
If a mage wore plate, who cares? Would that cause an uproar. No.
So, Logically. It makes sense to allow it.
Fight that if you wish, I want to hear your replies.![]()
Then we should allow white mages to cast all black mage spells as well, since if your character has both leveld, it makes sense, right?Yes, but your "ADDING TO THE STORY"

this is just how glamour system works, but feel free to cry and whine to SE and hope they change it, But they won't, so you wont be seeing paladins running around in full WHm robes.
Now you're just being silly. Glamours do not affect combat or gameplay in any manner. They are simply for fun, and a way to make your character unique.
