Adding Legacy Tattoo to Mog Station

Why do I not deserve it, because I did not know about the game during 1.0? That hardly seems fair. I am willing to dish out money for it now, and have spent quite a lot of time and effort on a game that I really like.
There are people that have/are eligible for it who never really even had interest in FFXIV 1.0 or 2.0, and probably never even subbed to either. I would really like to have my character be one from the Carteneau battle, it is a much more interesting story.

this is the same as the Legacy chocobo, the gobbue, or the horn. You will not get it, they are belong to legacy only, ask for something else, something new instead of ask for the thing you can't get

It is not the same as the mounts, no. The mounts and horn actually required you to play the game a significant amount. The tattoo could literally be by a level 1 that someone created during the time period then never came back to again. It means nothing other than you were 'in' on knowing about 1.0 and poked it at the right time.

I ll say it again, you will not get it. The legacy tatoo is the mark the character play at that period, if you are not play at that period, why do you want the mark to say you have the same status as ppl with legacy tatoo ?

Because the story is cooler and me having it or not will literally not affect your gameplay in anyway, but make me happier with a more immersive storyline.

it does not make me happy when ppl have the same thing as I do, when I were there and they are not, in a way it does effect my gameplay and effect my trust to SE if they sell that tatoo on mog station too

Do you just sit around staring at your character's tattoo going "man I am so special I am so glad I logged on that one time"
If so... I dunno man.

It would be really nice for players who were unable to or did not know about 1.0 to be able to use that storyline.

Also, for above, you do get different cutscenes or flavour text for a tattooed character in certain scenes.

I started 1.0 in Alpha stages and at that point the game was terrible, there was numerous suggestions to make alterations but they refused, I kept telling myself, from alpha to beta where they changed the battle system slightly that it would improve when I was deep in the Beta stages I kept saying "The full release will have far more content than this!"

I pre-ordered the collectors edition and then started. To my horror the game was identical to the awful BETA that we all tested, boring gameplay. I think I levelled to 20 about 6 times from beta to release and the experience didn't change. That was the point I gave up, I originally paid for 180 days sub but cancelled it once I lost complete interest they extended the free to play time over and over and I just gave up.

I started again in Alpha 2.0, Yoshi made many changes and the game was finally a little bit more interesting, but I never went back to 1.0 because I knew how much i disliked it. I don't have a tattoo or any legacy pieces, should I not be allowed to buy them from the shop because the reason of "I wasn't there" when I was there from the beginning.

It's difficult to say to add a "quest" to the shop that allows them to go back and witness the calamity to get the tattoo because Yoshi already declared no gameplay elements other than vanity would exist in the shop currently, I would like for them to add an event much like the Moonfaire event happening now where we can celebrate the X amount of years since the last Calamity let the reward following that event be the Tattoo (much like the Lightning Returns events that gave the hairstyle), should people miss that event you could always add it to the cash shop the next year but still hold a yearly calamity event handing out other pre 2.0 items for fun.

If you wernt there you didnt get this once in a lifetime item as a thank you for supporting the game its really that simple.

Yet for some reason people cant grasp that and is now demanding it to be put on the cashshop like some average joe item.

I dont have the tatoo and i reject putting it there.

And not knowing the game existed is not an excuse cause there would have been plenty of websites listing 1.0 as a mmo.
