    There are plenty of ways they could go about things without redesigning the class, though. Potency increases will in fact help to some degree (though they probably aren't necessary). If various cooldowns gained additional functionality based on Sect, they could shore up various gaps in the AST's toolkit (a common thought is for cards to have an additional effect based on stance). Collective Unconscious and Celestial Opposition (this is the main one that still needs something) need tweaks.

    Nocturnal Sect should probably grant the Adloquium critical heal bonus for simplicity's sake (even if it's boring, they're likely to favor boring solutions at this stage and worry about reworks later, much as they did with SMN in HW).

    Diurnal Sect *almost* works as well as WHM does, so it wouldn't take much to bring it up to par.

    I would opt for letting the astrologian stance dance in combat before upping their potency or adding crit bonus to noc shields.

    In the long run, how would stance dancing actually increase their overall healing performance?

    Alright so I finally got to 60. Here's my suggestion SE:

    1- Give draw a longer CD in exchange for us to be able to draw any card we wish to use. This should balance the RNG factor.
    2- Celestial Opposition has a really long CD for simply one more tick of buffs? 5 secs has 1 tick in it so I don't why it's 5 tbh.. it should at least have 3 more ticks..
    3- Collective Unconscious to have a wider range and a shorter CD. I get the concept of us being centered and with 0 mobility cause "unconscious" but it's very limited with sects right now and I don't see how it's any good compared to sacred soil or asylum. I think CU needs to have regen + 10% damage reduction at the same time and should be removed off sects.
    4- Stella needs to be an aoe spell.
    5- Lightspeed needs to buff healing spells' potency and it needs to have a shorter CD but not by much.

    I don't think these are major buffs, but they are definitely good enough imo.

    Steal the way LoL does it on Twisted Fate and just have it cycle through the buffs each second in a set order. When you reactivate Draw it locks the card in for 15s.

    Just shuffle until you get the card is another option. Shuffle can be on a gcd.

    Honestly not a fan of this one. Doing it takes away the whole gambling aspect of the job when really you just want to fix the useless cards. If every card had a good use then the random draw wouldn't be a huge issue. Plus it would be very overpowered.

    Honestly it wouldn't make that big of an impact other than the bonus AST gets. Stance changing is a good idea but would need an overhaul to actually make it useful which I doubt SE will do.
