Cheap melding plans for 3.05 DoH/L sets

Hi fellow crafters/gathers, this is Ding Ding from Behemoth

I made some cheap melding plans for crafters who want to craft lv60** with budget (only use tier 4 materias on guarantee slots, no overmelding on main/offhand, cheap overmelding on 3th slots). And a melding for gathers who just want to cap red scrips and gather HQ 1 star items (tier 2 materias on guarantee slots, only over melding tier 1 materias and no more than one overmelding per piece of gear):

* [DoL set without FC or food buff](http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/R412) enough for gathering anything (red scrips item, HQ lv60* mats) in the current patch.

This looks affordable actually. I'm hoarding ivs and didn't meld yet till I get my bsm and armorer to 60.

Did they change the materia slots on these items? I made a set of the 60 stuff last night and they only have 1-2 slots.

i wonder that no one mentions beet soup, it gives a lot of control and some craftsmanship, you can meld full CP and still get the required stats relatively cheap. Once you crafted your first upgrades you can change to seefood stew for max CP.
first you will have a little disadvantage cause of no CP-food though.. its a little more risky.

Arg thanks. For some reason I remember it showing all the available slots when you made something, but I guess not. Very happy to be wrong in this case!

Its great and all but i dont think ppl should really be doing 2 star stuff if they have to use all these kind of buff tactics as unless ur doing it in one go ur gonna have to re apply etc. vs the melded ppl who just eat food or fc buff. With that said u also have to consider the amount of base materials u need to buy/ gather which can be just as much as materia all together. Also u need to consider if u can HQ without getting some expensive HQ base materials which im sure not everyone has access too.
Then there's the price of FC3 demi/ mastercraft demi.

So unless u hit the reqs with decent CP ur gonna be struggling = potential explode craft or NQ.
Its nice on paper but when u look at it as a whole ur gonna be risking more than u should.

my 2 cents: either lvl a blacksmith or find a blacksmith friend. once you meld the 150 set minus tools an HQ offhand will put you at native craftsmanship/control for 2 star so you can essentially use baked onion soup or just cp food after.
