Dear SE,
I'll start off by saying that I completely understand that you want to promote new players to the game and offer it as a reward from the "Recruit a Friend Campaign". It is a great reward system, but, like myself, there are many players who are not able to take full advantage of it. Many players are just not able to recruit new players(either from not having enough friends that play mmo's and would like to play FFXIV, or know anyone that play's mmo's).
So I ask can you please add the Twintania mount for purchase on the Mog Station? You could price it at 39.95, 49.95 or even 59.95, and I'd still buy it(and i'm sure others would too). I think these prices are reasonable considering the demand for this mount. You will be surprised how many people would buy it if you added it to the Mog Station.
Thanks
You are not entitled to the Twintania mount.
If you want it, do what is required to get it.

You want to buy the Twintania mount?
Here you go.
Step 1: Buy 3 FFXIV ARR games. (19.99 or wait for a sale of the game, GMG has a -23% off code going on right now which makes it $15.40)
Step 2: Register said games but dont subscribe (or put in ANY CC info)
Step 3: Send yourself 3 RAF codes.
Step 4: Register codes
Step 5: Activate the accounts (you get 1 month free before being charged)
Step 6: Check your ingame mail for feathers.
There you go. You just paid the $60 for the mount you said you'd be willing to pay or less depending on sales/codes/etc.
or you can actually recruit people to join the game...

Sure they can take advantage. They don't HAVE to use friends. They can get strangers to sign up and try the game on many forums. Like half of my FC has done this. People begging to buy the mount are just being lazy. This practice could easily lead into a pay to win system if SE decided to start allowing things to simply be bought on the store. What starts as a mount can and would lead to people begging for content gear next. This also diminishes the purpose of recruit-a-friend. No one would use the system if they could just drop 15-25$ on the mount and get it without waiting. Hardcore should always get the advantage - this is why when casual raids come out, they are never on par with true endgame content difficulty or ilvl drops.

I just read your response. I love this. Lazy people are just to lazy sometimes. You want to buy the Twintania mount?
