A suggestion regarding height.

I dunno. I kinda feel the same way but if you could make a female au ra the same size as an elezen, I think the races lose a little bit of their identity.
The only thing I wanted was for female Au Ra to be a little bit taller. Their tallest is 5'2 while males are 7'. I would have liked to close the gap between the two genders a lot more. Female roegadyn are the only race/gender with a height range of 1 foot. Why not give that to female Au Ra as well since their height is so....drastically short.

I really wanted to play a less human-looking female but I didn't want to be THAT little.

I would have an Au Ra alt if I could've. Plus I'd bump my main up a few inches and max out my other alts for sure if I could :P Like.. With the Au Ra I'd still get annoyed by all the super cutesy and childish emotes and what not, but I could at least ignore those if I was at least tall.

I dunno, it'd be the only race that could be both the second smallest race or the second biggest guy or girl! Which is unique and less limiting to players. I really don't know why "racial identity" and "lore" is such a major issue, I mean.. I don't think many of you are roleplayers, and even on that people outside of those don't get all huffy about non-lore friendly names or any Xaela Au Ra that don't display "lustrous black scales and fiery wills" (Like how the girl's have blue scales and I heavily doubt all of them have "fiery wills"). It's silly to get all huffy about it imho, especially whenever SE can still retain the "racial identity" by noting how it's a certain tribe's unique thing and giving the players the option to do so, make note of the rarity of it.

What i suggest with respect to your post here is that there be a mix of races in character creation as well as the option of height! I would play a catboy_tarutaru(lalafell) race if they implemented these fixings there would be a lot of unique combinations.

Ps - SquareEnix we have cat race but no dog character. Can you please make a dog people! or Wolf!

This post makes me think of a rather mean image I once found on google relating to height, I couldn't find it though. It went something like "talls girls and tall guys are okay, tall guys and short girls are okay, but tall girls and short guys are not okay together."
Honestly, I would like the ability to be taller than my male counterpart. We're not asking to be able to be taller than a Roe or smaller than a Lalafel, just that we want to be able to find cute short male Miqo'te when you're a tall Miqo'te...
