Yes because Parallax stretches them to create surfaces and they get even worse. In my opinion the textures need a higher res overhaul cause game looks so 2004esque.

I think SE's said they use higher res textures internally, it's just a matter of getting them to release them, at least as an optional, separate download.

I am really also for remodeling the war lion. If they can produce lovely big cat models like this, there is no excuse for the crappy reskinned chimera lion for paladin.

I'm also just for really good looking mobs in general, even if fighting things like normal tigers and bears is somewhat jarring in a world otherwise filled with dragons and goblins. XD

To be honest... That lion looks good from a distance, but once you zoom in on its face you realize it's just a robot with a lion skin over it... and it fits badly, so the edges of the holes in the skin for the eyes and mouth don't line up well with what's underneath. At least that's how I see it >.<

The only thing I don't like about the Tiger mobs is that the there isn't a black reskinned version of it for DRK ... given SE's (West at least) propensity for pun you'd think they'd jump at the chance of black tiger mount for DRKs.

The technical and scientifically correct term for this is a melanistic tiger. :> And to be honest I thought that's what the DRK mount would be.
