FF's MNKs have a heavy Indian influence mixed into the Chinese Shaolin type monk and Japanese martial art forms.
You can see this in the aesthetics and Job skills.
That's what makes a FF MNK distinct. And yea, FF has enough of a legacy on their Jobs that it should pull from its own icons not general ones.

The male version of the AF should've looked like Yang's After years though (if not just bareback with tattoos).
