That's kind of what I was getting at. Direct, sustained contact with Bismarck drains us of wind and water (and maybe lightning) aether, so staying in contact with him too long throws our internal balance out of whack and starts physically harming us.Thus my theory on the DoT dammage. Up till now we've only fought primals a few times bigger than us. The fact that Bismark was not only flying, but the largest primal we've faced yet ment we had to actually RIDE the primal. Which could have indeed made us vulnerable to the Aether Osmosis that primals use on their surroundings.

True, there's nothing saying that they're only those elements, but there aren't any other elements found in their bodies...

Them using three elements vs. two in their respective fights' mechanics definitely makes the inference that they're composed of all those elements an easy one.
But despite that not being the case, there's still the connection to a third element. And I'm still a little conflicted on whether or not there's a deeper meaning to it other than "Let's dump all the elements into these two so we can move s[kupo!]t along."
