Most time they are 2 weeks long
The coming summer event is 4 weeks long

These complaints about the MogStation are getting more and more ridiculous. Either buy the stuff or leave it alone. It's not like you had never the chance to obtain most of the stuff ingame anyway.

My only complaint is with paypal needing a credit/debit card to get Crysta. No problems buying a game time card off the official site with just paypal funds. Would be interesting to know why this is, as playspan(?), forget now, had no issues.

That one issue kinda leaves things limited for what some people can get for their account, whether it's cosmetic stuff from past events, new stuff, or account related stuff. This is all more a gripe on my part as I can still play the game, the key part.

As for the OP, they already have their own currency, Crysta, as a few people have commented on. Personally I'd hate to see ads popping up in game on chat, considering I got to usually deal with the bots selling gil whipsers most of the time. Which I'd say are both equally annoying, although the whispers are only bad in certain areas/times. Ads would only distract you from enjoying this beautiful game anyways!

This game has quality standards. I know it may be a bit of culture shock if you're used to f2p games, but advertisements and the like are not appropriate for a game of this model.

Quality standards, that's a good one.

We've got a P2P game here with a cash shop selling stuff that could be used as gameplay content.

That said, this isn't a good idea, I'd rather see this disgusting cash shop purged from existence, but that will never happen.
