PVP Gear. Return to the animal theme.

I'm not saying they have to, it'd just be nice because I liked that old gear. The new stuff doesn't feel as unique (I'm not saying it's bad), and the fact that for Lynx, Parrot and Owl were just copied and pasted from existing stuff kind of felt lazy. Anyway, this is what I'd like to see each job have for the next sets:

PLD - Buffalo
WAR - Rhino
DRK - Gorilla
DRG - Scorpion
MNK - Leopard
NIN - Chameleon
BRD - Fox
MCH - Eagle
SMN - Peacock
BLM - Ocelot
WHM - Butterfly
SCH - Badger
AST - Penguin

I'm sure others will have better ideas. This is just what I think. It'd be cool if SE gave us a selection for each job so we could vote for the next sets.

I would agree with the theme's. The originals are extremely unique and very cool. Sadly they are not special anymore since they are easy to farm for.

Also, I'm not sure if you're trolling or not, but your choices of animals are quite hilarious... especially going from what they were at 50 to completely different types of animals lol.

The Gorilla was because I was stuck, I made these up in 5 minutes.

Buffalo are insanely underestimated animals. I've seen one escape the clutches of a Lion and Croc at the same time...True tank material haha.

I like the Black Panther/Lynx theme they seem to have us as, I just wish the old set wasn't a recolor of the Paladin set.

There were 2 sets prior to animal gear in 2.0. They'll probably stick with that formula. We'll probably see that in 3.2 or 3.3

That was my issue with it. That and the sword looks like a toy.

You don't think this is it? The new 180 gear is fairly close having animal traits. Sadly its very generalized and not specific to every class..

That's the reason why^^ warwolf was general for at i70 and i90. I'd imagine will see a general set at i200 then the class specific animal at 210 or 220

But that gear didn't look special, nor did it have any kind of rank requirement. The new gear not only looks half decent, but has the requirement. Plus moral brings it to 200 I believe. Maybe it will be like i100/i110 gear that was dyable and has the slight boost of 5 morale.
But I will leave room for doubt since the morale gear has no effect in FL and they'll need to up the level for 60 Den.

Originally, the i70 and i90 gear did have rank requirements, the crafted 55s were the only set that didn't. Took a lot of wolve's den matches to get that gear back before frontlines too.
