Earthquake caused suspension? What is the motive?

And i have very little sympathy for humans just like the rest of you misanthropists.

Sure a lot of us are frusterated cause you can say we are alive and well, so why cant we play the game we want to play. Nothing wrong with being selfish, but if you are dependant on someone else to allow you to do something for you, you have no right to demand anything.

I find it interesting that you say you have been monitoring the news yet you think this is some kind of 'motive' by SE. I am sorry if you can't comprehend what the news people are saying... you know big earthquake, bigger tsunami, huge aftershocks?

Nah those are little things because FFXIV's severs are down so it must be a plot by SE! *sarcasm*

The pure fact that you care more about the servers being down and what SE's 'motive' is for doing it than the fact that millions have lost power, homes, loved ones just makes me wonder where your priorities lie.

I don't think SE is even open. Most of the staff may have lost loved ones. I know last post I read yoshida had a friend he was worried about. And they prob are helping the relief effort.

The servers being exclusively based in Japan explains a lot, as far as how poorly the game operates in other nations. I'm not trying to sound cold. It's horrible what in Japan, and totally understandable that the game would be shut down, I just found it interesting to learn that all servers are based in Japan.

Just on a side note, SE isnt the only company with down servers right now, Konami among a few others are all down at the moment too.
Basicaly, if its a japan based company, good luck getting into any of their online games.

I believe I read somewhere alot of stock values alredy fell for a number of japanese companies
