i just used a hinterland favor and started gathering hard silver ore the entire 15 minutes nothing poped up , the buff also says forelands when i use hinterlands , im doing something wrong ? :|

nope you just got unlucky. It is a bug that it says Foreland, but it still only works in Hinterlands

Where the birch log nodes are seem to work best for me. I get tons of spirit bonding done doing these favors xD.

Just did my first favor gathering to expiramint. Are the roundstones a rare item that spawn on same node as ooids? Went through 5 favors while gathering aurum regis sand and tho I got quite a few ooids (12 nq 2hq) I never did see roundstones.

The Roundstones are indeed rare items, that spawn along with the Ooids on those nodes.

I've gone entire sets (5 Favors) without seeing the rare item.

With some (admittedly limited -- 90 favors worth of records) testing ... it looks like something around a 25% chance of a node dropping common mats (around 3.5/favor) ... with around a 2.5-3% chance of the rare one (0.4/favor)

Now .. there are some assumptions going into this, on the per node side (I can get 12-15 nodes generally .. sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less), but 90 favors gives at least a bit of a basis for estimation.

I think the addendum to OPs post should be the "best" locations per favor. I have been trying out different locations and recording my yields. When I get a larger sample I will post it here.
