The increase help with the fact of not need to craft as many as before but yah the real problem is still there. The should put the Favor like Folklore nodes. Permanent. So once you acquire them you can keep farming the like unspoiled nodes.

I mean, hey, it's not like this is the first time they managed this. Atma says hello back from when it was introduced.

Lol. It is really true. They made ppl think what they wanted. Very clever indeed but they are going to lose many subs if they keep doing this.If you read the rep response in the complaint threads you'll realize that the feedback was "sabotaged" by the reps. The reps said, "we'll convey the feedback that the amount of red script gained are too little to the dev" after all the pages and pages of posts outlining the actual problem.
The root of the problem with crafting and gathering is just one: the developers' main objective is to reduce supply to drive MB prices up.
As long as the development team designs content around the MB instead of making it fun crafting and gathering will continue to have these issues.

What would be the motivation behind this? Why would the developers want higher prices on the AH? I don't see why there would be any concern about raising the prices. If anything I would think the dev's would want lower prices so more people have access to more things.
Nah, what you don't get is it's easier to balance adjustments to red scrip gains than it would be to say increase the amount you receive in terms of materials.
So I'm Player A, I've spent all my scrips and played the system as it was designed so because I was playing the game and working with the system and one of the players whom saw concerns, I'm punished when they adjust it?
So I'm Player B, I twiddled my thumbs and just let others play with the system, because of their efforts now my scrips are worth more oh what happy day.
You see the issue? You can't adjust it now because you create a rift in the system, an unfair advantage over those who saw issues because they invested in the system and then those who held their scrips. The thing is you have to let it ride out, play with the system, yes it's harsh but your materials are more precious, so treat them that way. it won't be easy, you won't be able to gear in one day but people have already proven they can obtain x gear set if you put the effort and teamwork into it.
Basically though, if they were going to change the system, they would have to find a way to reimburse those who already invested their scrips without giving either side an advantage.
As it stands now the only way they can do that is by lowering the amount of time it takes to get red scrips, because while the destination might be the same, the time it takes has been greatly reduced and it should be something others should understand and not inquire why they don't just give +2 more of x etc etc.
3.1 is where you will see those changes, they can't do them now, those adjustments are just to sensitive to just throw into the game on a system that is barely 2 weeks old.

Why is it that its always the people that want change that are the villains? Sorry we don't see egregious amounts of slave work for the right to make substandard gear as acceptable payoff for gameplay...

I guarantee you just about anyone who falls under player A wants a change to this system. Would their hard work be gone to waste? Yeah. Would they they care? No, because they finally have a system that actually works.
