The Duty Finder has been adjusted so that players who have been vote-dismissed are not immediately available as candidates for joining a party.

Fantastic so now there will be even more incentive for people to abuse the vote-dismiss feature. But I guess be sure to report those that do because this is against the tos.

Looks like the pr team did a ninja edit to clarify this, In that respect I would say I would be all for this there has been a few times that I have got a troll/bot tank and kicked them just for them to rejoin. More careful wording on a hot button subject would be ideal but whoever wrote out the notes was likely starting a early day and didn't think it through that much so oh well another day on the internet with nerds raging at each other :P

This was a much needed change. As you said if someone abuses it, simply report them.

Stop fear mongering. You can only start a votekick every 4 hours. No sane person that frequents the DF is going to waste a lengthy vote wait on some random person for giggles.

This is a really 2 sided thing. It's either your kicking a guy that's abusing the party or being kicked by a party of abusers. Either way just move passed it. That's all anyone can do when you come down to it.

I think this will prevent players from being assholes to each other. And people who kick unjustly for no reason are very few and far in between. THAT is when you can report people, but like I said...that is very rare. Don't act like it happens daily. It actually has never happened to me or anyone I know. I've just read about it on the forums in a grand total of one thread. I won't pretend it doesn't happen, I'll just say it doesn't happen enough that it's a big problem. That said, the better fix would've been if the player being dismissed simply can't join that same party (this might actually be what was implemented, and was worded weirdly).

According to another thread this only prevents people from joining in progress duties for awhile. You can still requeue right away for duties with a new group. Good change tbh.

It was put in to prevent those instances where people would vote kick someone and that person would immediately get back in the group that kicked them
