Really really sad that maintenence is 2 hours before normal time

Yes, but they have the option of rectifying their asinine decision with Ishgard housing... By making it phased exterior, instanced interior.

Add a cluster of them for variety, or like brownstone front/no yard and the yard in the back, fenced, and not visible from the front.

Of course he could have budgeted his time differently and capped without much effort, but that doesn't automatically make him lazy.

But maybe he couldn't play the last few days because he had to work 16 hours a day or something. That doesn't make him lazy anyway...Lazy implies that he was unwilling to put in the necessary work. He capped tomes the last two weeks, so obviously he is willing. He just made the mistake of budgeting his time in a way that he'd cap last minute. We don't know! All we know is that he said:

Please read my post where I said he may not have been able to log on the last few days and didn't see the maintenance bulletin until today. You're just making assumptions about how he plays the game based on how you play the game. This is a stupid argument anyway. I only responded originally in this thread to point out that him being upset he couldn't cap tomes does not somehow mean he doesn't care about world hunger. There's no reason to come in here and call someone names. You and that other guy could have simply said, "Hey, you should try to budget your time differently so that you can cap earlier in the week!" Just get them in this week's ESO cap. Its not a big deal at all. You'll still get the 80 you need, just tomorrow. waiting 24 hours isn't that big a deal.

I didn't say what you're accusing me of. I said:

To be frank, it isn't SE's fault you didn't read the maintenance warning more carefully. I mean, you are forced to read it (or at least have it put in front of you) every time you log in.

I didn't actually call him lazy, nor did I complain about him complaining. I simply agree with the other guy that it was probably just laziness.
