Alot of people on here are saying how great XI's AH was. Do you remember when RMT dominated it? I sure do. And I also recall reading on here how RMT aren't that bad. Not true, I see them EVERYWHERE lol. And I bet money if we went to XI's AH on here they would again dominate it. Even more so because they DO do crafting on here, considering crafting on here plays a bigger role then it was on XI.
Another one of the many reasons FFXIV flopped at release was because of system implementations that were brought on in an effort to thwart the RMT problem in FFXI. RMT have always been and will always be. They are like nature that way ( Nature always finds a way ). There is no such thing as a system that prevents RMT. They can only try to make it harder for them to conduct business. In the process of making things harder for them, they sacrifice the experience for the rest of us by leaving out basic fundements of an MMO. Just make a task force that rids of them as much as you can and that is all you can really do. Other games dont really have an issue keeping the masses due to high RMT population, why does this one.
