What I said is that DeBeers, while charging ridiculous and exorbitant prices, at least prices their diamonds at the the edge of what is affordable. Some of the crafters in FF set prices BEYOND what is affordable, requiring people to buy gil if they want the item.

I never said they were reasonable... I said they were MORE reasonable than some of the pricing in FF. It's called a comparison, not an absolute.
