A suggestion regarding height.

So, I've seen this complaint at least come up once before (And honestly as a tall girl who likes the demi beastman races but doesn't want to always be shorter than the men of the same race, I really want this myself) but how would you all feel if the height system was reworked so that the height ranges for men and women of each race were equal? Like with 1 being the shortest possible option for the race (ie the current 1 on the women of that race) while 100 is the current tallest possible option for the race (ie the current 100 on the men of that race).

Two possible ways I could see this being done without reworking the entire customization system (Say like your height just being put in via a little box in cm/inches to make your model a certain height with some restrictions), as that does seem to be an issue with any suggestion regarding character customization.

1) A straight 1-100 slide option. Benefits would mean more options than option number two. The issue is mapping this would result in some awkward business involving the jumps in each individual unit of height 1 to 2 being a little large in some cases ( Like the Au Ra for example would have 32 inches ((I think?)) to split into 100 different spots, which I'm pretty sure would result in some awkward jumps in height with most of the current heights for girls being impossible).

2) 1-50 would be the current height range for the women of whatever race, while 51-100 would equal the current height range for the men of whatever race, which would solve the issue of some awkward jumps per unit in height. However the issue with this one is the overlap in height that all races but the Au Ra currently have.

Maybe a more synergistic mix of the two options would be the ideal solution. Either way, ideally I hope you all can see the benefit to this idea and show support, and if not dissent away.

I would get behind that, yes. I'm also a tall girl, and find it amusing that all of my characters are not.

As a 6'0" woman in real life: nah, I'm good. If I want to play a tall character, I'll play a highlander, elezen, or roegadyn. 3/6 races are really tall.

I think it kinda sucks that the male races have to be so tall... Although highlanders set to minimum height is pretty much the size I wanted for my character, it would be nice if other races could be shorter(Elezen and Au Ra mainly). I'd like if they did this just for the sake of variation in character models.

Honestly, I don't see a point.

You can already be a tall female.
You can already be a short male.

Gender height difference is a thing in real life just as much as it is in game. You have short guys, then you have really tall guys. You have really short girls then you have tall girls. If they changed it, it would throw racial height difference completely out of wack. And racial height difference is there for a reason.

A Roe shouldn't be as short as a Lala. They can play a Lala if they want to be that short. Don't want to be tall? Play a Hyur or Miqote. Don't want to be short? Stay away from Lala.

Protip: Max your female characters height. Boom you'll be taller than 90% of others that are the same race/gender as you because just about everyone thinks having a short female character is cuter. Same goes for Males with being tall. Go short and you'll be different.

I hate people having more customization options that do not affect me in any way, shape or form.
