Lack of party invites and more

I seem to have the same problem, I see hundreds of people running around everyday but the only time I see speech in the chat box is when it's in Japanese, makes me wish I could speak and read it so I could join in.

I think one of the problems though is (from what I've read on other forums and stuff) the game operates better using a gamepad rather than the usual keyboard+mouse methods of other PC games, so the reason a lot of people don't speak is because they aren't anywhere near a keyboard in order to type a response and/or don't have a button set on their gamepad to use macros, thus making them incapable of responding... well... unless it was possible to communicate by running around in circles

The first time I saw someone talk was whilst I was crafting at Camp Dry Bone, a Lalafell came along and asked "Anyone wanna do a levequest?", everyone was silent apart from me, though my response wasn't exactly spectacular: "Someone said something! :O". He ran away right after that, I may have scared him off... poor little shorty.

Anyways, I like the sound of this Linkshell Orca and LilyPendragon are building, so if you guys need an Archer/Conjurer/Random Crafting thingy pop Konata Chibi an invite. ^.^

Its good to see im not the only one who noticed this. To be honest the day after i posted this i didn't really return to the game until now. Its just the little moments that i miss , for example i saw a rnk 10 gla being pwned by a mob and i threw them a heal and they stood there looking at me in shock before running away.

Hopefully people will communicate outside of their LS soon because this game , with its flaws granted, would be so much better to experience with the other citizens of gyashl. Rather than next to them, in silence.

From my experience, I usually don't find raptor parties unless I'm the one forming it in Uldah. Most people who want those parties just sit and craft in Uldah waiting on shouts anyway.
