I don't get all this complaining about Wanderer's Minuet. I'm a Bard and I like it. It's meant to be used only when you don't need to move (much). Once you have to move alot you turn it off. It's as simple as that. SE themselves actually mentioned this in their live letter. And it's not that much of a DPS loss if you don't use it. I sometimes actually feel like I kill things faster without Minuet than with it. But that might just be me :P

Anyway, I wasn't very much into the idea of the Wanderer's Minuet skill when it first came out, either. I was very skeptical as to how it would work. Since as a Bard I hated giving up my freedom of movement in combat, which was, after all, the whole reason I chose a Bard in the first place. And back then Minuet had a cast time.

Eventually though, I got used to it and I learned how to use it properly. And now it's made into an instant cast so it's even easier to turn on and off.

Learn to play with it before you complain. It's really not that awful. If anything I think it adds more diversity to Bard gameplay. And after the minor adjustment, I quite like it

This is never an accurate way of showcasing how much DPS you do. As a Bard, you must know that abilities such as Quelling Strikes exist, yes?

I know about Quelling strikes. I never overaggro the tank

I just use the aggro bar as some sort of a reference for how I'm doing since doing damage creates threat/emnity aswell. I've had ppl tell me that the aggro bar is a way to see how ur damage compares to someone else's. Not entirely sure how much of that is true though. But whatever :P

Except they're wrong because other jobs have access to Quelling Strikes as well. DRGs have Elusive Jump and Ninjas can reduce hate on themselves or any party member they choose.
