I think Viking is just too similar aesthetically to warrior to be that interesting.

No thank you to gunblade and magitech cannon - I'd rather see classic jobs.

My pick would be a DoM Red Mage tank - some self-heal utility, enspells, spikes, etc.

Beastmaster. Dual wields axes a la ffxi, instead of having a pet per se, cool down animations for mitigation in the form of pets. Example: a 30% damage reduction like Vengeance, but you summon a mini adamantoise that takes 30% of all incoming damage for 20 secs or 15k damage total. Or summon an ant lion that increases your slashing damage by 10% and deals dot damage potency of 40 for 40secs. Have an Mch like overdrive ability in later levels, the possibilities are pretty cool.

Ewww. Why does everyone want these Dissidia Yuna versions of pet classes. Gross.
