PvP how to solve GC restirctions

Another easy fix is to allow people to queue as either a Grand Company member (What ever company the are currently signed on to) or as a Free Company member (What ever company their FC is registered with) That way, you could always play with your FC mates regardless of what company you belong to.

The would partially solve the "letting people play with their friends" issue, but would do nothing to help queue times.

In a roundabout way, it would slightly improve queue times. Its not going to give everybody 5 min PVP queues, but it would give a better variety of people queueing. If you are part of the flames and your FC is adders, when you queue for a PVP roulette, it could put you in the pool for both companies at the same time and pull you from the faster pot. You could lock yourself into one gc or the other by queueing with a friend/fc mate or by queueing for a specific PVP type.

Just seems a bit circumlocutory. They could just add a "frontlines: mercenary" queue that has no GC ties and allows people to queue as a group or solo. Anyone can play together, even if not in the same FC, and we wouldn't have some GCs with ridiculous queue times.

Or any other number of things that have been suggested that effectively remove the restriction.

...On the other hand, circumlocutory is definitely SE's style at times.
