    I agree with a lot of what OP posted. Unless you want to level ALL your jobs to 60, including crafting. There is not much to do unless you like to farm the same two dungeons over and over, plus trying the Savage Mode. Most casuals will finish main story in about 4-5 weeks, maybe 2 weeks to gear to 170. After that it's pretty much doing Alexander Normal and Expert Roulette of two dungeons.... Unless you want to mix up Extreme Primals and Savage. They probably think the expansion is enough to hold over for 3-4 months before the next patch, sorry, IT IS NOT enough.

    Crafting is being slowed down by a huge deal to make sure content last 4 months, you can see this through the red scripts fiasco. No crafting gears to be used for savage is their blatant attempt to slow down Savage progression to last another 3 months. They should have launch with 5-6 endgame dungeons and another mode of questing. Daily hunt is good, but it needs more variety. High Level dungeons and 2.0 Raid is dead, which they should remix this with new drops to revitalize content and giving players (the same variety of stuffs) something to do. A lot of players did not even touch 2.0 Coil but maybe with uncapped level and adding new minions, materials, centurio seals daily quest, this could add more variety of revitalizing old (dead) content.

    What really baffling is that they have a HUGE amount of content now with 2.0-2.55, most of them is DEAD, all they have to do is remixing a few little things to easily revive those old contents and make it somewhat relevant variety due to drop.
    - Crystal Towers: just add materials that can be used by high level crafter on every boss drop, change the weekly quest to also give you materials needed to upgrade to 180. Also add 25, 30, and 35 Esoteric bonus to each of those CT.
    - Add 30 Esoteric bonus to daily high level roulette. Add 5-30 esoteric to all high level dungeons, ONLY if you run it as level 60 jobs, no reward is given if you do it as level 50-59.
    - Add 5-10 Esoteric bonus to all primals on 2.0 contents if you run it as level 60.
    - Add 10-15 Esoteric bonus to all Bahamut Coils if you run it as level 60. Also add crafting materials for level 55-60.
    - Add exp bonus to ALL bosses in 2.0-2.55 dungeons, XP should be comparable up to level 53 dungeons, this will give some variety of leveling from 50-53 on alts and other jobs, and reduce the FATE bang-a-gong-marathon in N.Thanalan.
    - Add a quest that can change your primal pony to flying Pegasus version. The only catch is, you must posses the said pony, and you have to earn 10 token by doing the respective primal. 2 Tokens are guaranteed drop but you have to lot it against 7 other people. This will revive older primal content.
    - Make ALL gears from CT and Coils dye-able, the catch is, you have to upgrade them, with material(s) that are dropped (somewhat generously) from all the bosses in their respective contents.

    Just by doing that, it will give most players and returning players A LOT of things to do, granted they are OLD content to most of us, but at least, now these old contents are semi relevant enough to do once a week, or once awhile here and there to mix it up with the "extremely lacking, boring, mind numbing" non existing variety of content for end game at 60.

    Otherwise, if you are not happy with the way things are now, you can always take 6-9 months break. By the time you come back, it will have TONS of variety of things to do
