I understand about playstyle, so I could see it being optional only. As far as the other reason, we can already see MP bars in the party box. I think it would put too much clutter on an already cluttered screen.

Put TP bars on the UI for the rest of the party first. D:

TP bars are coming, they won't show a number though, just a % of TP left^^
As for the MP bars above heads... I have a hard enough time finding bards that look at the party box for healer mp%, I don't think cramming it above our heads will make any difference to those type of bards D: (Not all bards are like that, and I -love- you guys! haha)
I gotta admit, the window is cluttered enough, and sometimes I feel like I'm getting swamped by stuff... would rather see ways to get some UI elements simplified / turned off before adding more stuff in><.
Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means

More clutter!

As a toggleable option I see no harm in adding this.
I just posted in another thread about the lack of customization for many things regarding combat and ui
I have to agree with op on simple grounds that any option is an improvement (if it stays optional)
Even if only some would find it useful...then it should exist.
our ui is horridly basic and prehistoric in the options available to us.
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!

Of course as a toggle option but I don't see it bringing too clutted, I turn mine all off so I would just have my MP bar showing.

you know why it's not gonna happen.
