OK I'm really objective now I know I can complain alot but this time its just focusing on the following.

How can we get Yoshi P to listen to our concern here?

Only 2 Ex Roulette dungeons that you do over and over and over again due to how fast you hit 60. We are farming Alex gears now as an alternatives but the new currency will replace Alex gear within time making Alex more of a chore to raid and do alex 1-4 weekly over and over again. Same goes for Ravanna Ex and Bismark Ex. It only means if you have lets say 2 main jobs if you get the new weapons with the new currency you pretty much made Ravanna ex and bismark ex useless aside from helping a friend etc. This has become way to repetative due to lack of variety of endgame content to do in my opinion.

Is everyone here just accepting this and litterly isnt bored out by this feel free to discuss. I can't be the only one feeling like this or am i?

Your not.. I'm one that has no inclination of desperately capping for gear. I do my weekly Alexander normal, the once a day roulette and call it the day. Once I hit 900, I pop a weapon. Done. Do it again for another class if I feel like it.

Everything you just said I completely agree with.....but what I do not get is how WoW comes out with 8 new dungeons and 2 new raids from the launch of WoD for level 100 as a form of hard mode and SE only can come out with 2 dungeons and 4 floors that only have 1 boss per floor for the current raid content for max level.....I just dont get it? I can understand doing this for ARR since it was a remake and they wanted to play it save but with the current player base being so high would it have been that hard to add in maybe like just 2 HM Dungeons in the mix on top of Fractal and Neverreap and least to give us more variety instead of doing it 6 months from now? Only 2 things that I want....stop limiting players on what they can do and just some more variety for the expert roulette.....

Because WoW loves to give 1 patch a year yay....

I prefer the FFXIV way of giving major patches every couple of months with tasty mini patches in between keeping me busy

WoD started with no raids and the HM dungs were complete rehashes of the leveling dungs, not sure what she is talking about.

Been a while since I played WoW but from what I remember their patches were much more frequent than once a year. A better excuse would be that Blizzard has more money to throw at the game than SE does.

As for the topic..

I've been burned out. I've had no desire to raid since WoW's WotLK expansion. Continual grinding to farm gear just really doesn't do it for me anymore. It makes something I once felt was for entertainment feel like another job I have to do. No thank you. Bring me some other path of progression please.

There hasnt been in any thought process in alexander and the new currency. The new currency pretty much killed the meaning with alexander. since this is vertical progression afterall. Why waste time on Alex or alex savage now with these gears when you can do it in 4 weeks from now with your i200 gears instead making everything way easier for you. This was an example ofcourse but you get my point. SE with Yoshi P is trying really hard to put WoW influences here and with the games almost very easy difficulty wich is meant to keep you hooked isnt helping to form a good player but teaches you to become a lazy one rather

The Alexander Savage gear and weapon are still ilvl 210 so its still worth doing for hardcore raiders for players that just want to run the most challenging content. The reason why is able to come out with 8 dungeons and 2 new raods for WoD level 100 is because WoW has a larger developer team than Final Fantasy XIV. Also unlike Blizard SE doesn't have their entire developmental team focused just on Final Fantasy XIV.

In terms of variation in the roulette, indeed Heavensward is extremely lacking.

I would rather have 8 dungeons available from the get go, then have the Hard Modes and Extreme Modes and Savage Modes of those dungeons as the patches come out.

The way it is currently set up, we will always only be rotating those 2-3 newest dungeons in the Ex.Roulette for 3-4 months at a time. It's hard not to become bored with this set up.

I can say I'm not as burned out as you OP but I've mostly been queueing with my friends and FC mates for a lot of stuff. Alexander runs don't take very long and with the four drops instead of two I find myself getting my drops faster than before. Neverreap and Fractal are certainly dull after all the times running them, but when I'm tanking with two geared/competent dps friends we tend to clear the place in 15-20 minutes while chatting for the run which drastically reduces the boredom. I haven't even touched bismark ex or ravana ex and I probably won't until it goes in to the DF at which point I'll do them for the sake of the story completion.

OP, it might be time for you to take a break or find another game to play on the side, not necessarily an MMO but a single player game you can mess around with. Hop on, do a roulette or two then just switch to the other game in the meantime.
