Not our fault they were making a reference to the turns of a coil spring yet folks can't seem to understand that in every other game ever they're floors, wings, or levels.
"Turn" is exclusively used in Coil. That's it. And since Alexander isn't a coil, there is no logic in calling it a turn.
My FC uses A1-4 as an aside.

We have both healers (ast+sch) dpsing on p1. Even ast, having a main healer role was able to do some dps. When adds spawn, smn and war grab one each, war continues to dps boss, smn applies bane, and adds are killed with dots+some aoe spells, making us able to dps boss a little bit more. And both tanks are with str melded gear, it helps too.

My group has cleared A1 both weeks and as most people have said if your not pushing Oppressor 1.0 down to atleast 59-61% before he calls 0.5, your chance of success will drop dramatically. We've done so with a physical damage heavy party both times with the dps being MNKx2 MCH NIN and MCHx2 DRG NIN. It'll be a very tight check as almost any/every screw-up will result in a loss. If you lack competent companions or have those who learn at a much slower pace it may be wise to wait for additional gear to save each other some frustration.
Timing your CDs properly is incredibly helpful. I Presence of Mind the first Prey (can be slightly overkill but helps in case I get targeted by the laser and have to move) and Divine Seal the second. Divine Seal should be back up by the time the tank buster/prey combo goes out in the second phase.
And this is not helpful. It's definitely doable to solo heal P1 but I wouldn't say it's "easy." It's pretty easy for someone to get nuked by prey while you're running out of an unfortunately targeted laser if you don't play perfectly.
