Its only contributed by you.Hey, y'all! I'm a fresh lvl 60 MCH and had a quick question in regards to Wildfire. Does turret damage contribute to your Wildfire damage? Or is it just your damage skills that add up to the big burst at the end? I'm on the PS4 so I can't parse myself to really test it.
Thanks for the help, and sorry if this question has been asked before!
At 41, for single target. You can pretty much use most of the lv.60 rotation, you just will not have access to Gauss Barrel, Gauss Round, Hypercharge, or Ricochet.

That's kinda what I suspected. Thanks, Velhart!
I also have a newbie question about rotation I havn't been able to settle from reading the thread and guide.
When it comes down to cooldown rotation, firstly - Wildfire (90 sec) and reload (60 sec) don't line up nicely at all. Should I:
A) Use reload moment it comes back up, delay using wildfire again for 30 seconds after it finishes cooldown
B) Hold reload for 30 seconds until wildfire comes back up.
C) Neither, use both as and when they come up.
Secondly, damage bonus cooldowns in general, after the initial burst do I want to hold back the cooldowns for the next burst, or should I use them as they come off cooldown like most other DPS classes would? - I played DRG for several months and pretty much mastered the class, but DRG's DPS is a sustained model by comparrison, when MCH seems to have much more distinct burst/idle phases. So unsure if the same rules apply to cooldown use.
C) I believe gets you the most DPS over the long run. However you have to think about the fight...if we consider Faust which takes roughly 2:30 you use reload/reassemble as soon as it comes up but should delay the second WF/hawkeye/rapid fire until reload/reassemble is back up.
Yeah I meant for straight up "target dummy" bosses that provide high up-time. Naturally fights that have invulnerable phases, or DPS check phases you'd adapt your cooldown usage in line with that.C) I believe gets you the most DPS over the long run. WIldfire doesn't seem counted if I tried to parse. Is ther anyway for it to appear in ACT? Thanks
Hey all,
I have a few questions as a MCN on Ravana Ex.
I know when he has a red shell, that's when you should be popping your CDs, but when I seem to hold my first burst rotation, I don't seem to get as high as I popped at the beginning.
Here is what I do:
- Pre fight, pop RS, HE, BfB, HC.
- Hotshot > Wildfire > Leadshot
And then Reload into my opener. The reason I pop Wildfire so early on, is so that it will be up as soon as he lands after casting Prelude, which means I can get a full WF pop onto his face (minus RS and HC) as he charges up Liberation.
This gives my WF and all CDs to come off CD for as he lands after Bloody Fuller, where I can do a full CD rotation on his face with RS and HC. So far, I have found this to give me the best DPS possible for me. (I lack the hive weapon, but have mostly Alex gear and Eso stuff, ilvl 185)
Depending on how the fights goes, I end up on 850-900 DPS, maybe a tad more depending on how lucky my crits are and how perfectly I play.
Question is, should I hold my RS and HC for the while he is casting Liberation and gain the full effects of his increased dmg at that stage instead? If I do that, I lose out on a lot of early burst.
What do you do for Ravana Ex?
So what are the rotation that could be easy for me to remember cause been using hot shot > lead shot then just been pressing priority of buttons when i do split shot > slug shot > clean shot ...

Ok I noticed I was having a similar problem when I first started dealing with ravana. The reason is if you wait til ravana pops his red shell to start your opener Wildfire won't go off, because he'll go invincible before the timer runs out on it. The answer I came too is to start popping my CDs and applying fully buffed Lead Shot when Ravana is at 88% health. Assuming your dps is fast enough, you should be applying Wildfire about the same time he begins going into Red Shell, the debuff from Hypercharge should last through most of the starting phase as well. Your second Wildfire burst, aka the weaker one, will be up and ready in time for Warlord Shell. It's up to you weather you want to use it here or not, as Wildfire itself will do about 2k-2.5k damage (at least for me) do to warlord shell making him take 0 damage. After that it will be back up and ready for use just before orbs. And I'm sure you can figure the rest out from there.
