I'd like for there to be an actual ship ride. It'll give us the option to talk to the other people on the ship, have atleast a little immersion, later allow for pirates to invade, and also give us a chance to walk away from the computer and making some kind of distance without actually being at the computer.

If it's in a second like I'm thinking it will be.. there's just nothing to it... really

Exactly, what would be the point of Airships if you can't feel the immersion of the ride, Heck if were going to do Insta Airships mine as well charge anima to use the Airships instead of gil >.>

I think the immersion comes with the pretty little cutscenes. But anyway, they plan on making the ship rides longer, apparently, in the future.

I wish people could see past the "oh you will get tired of it" phase. They can add things to it.. just takes some time to get to there.

I'm actually kind of hoping after all these additions to traveling, they will raise up the cost to teleport by a lot. Because aren't there specific port spots the airships can go to all over Eorzea and not just city-states?

People will complain if its there or not, just like Chocobo's they complained because they thought it was going to be called " my little Chocobo" >.> like it really matters what the name is.. Its a good dang Chocobo we been crying for it we got it, and people want to complain about the name? >.>

Anyways, Point being that Its always cool to see the Airship from above and seeing everything from below. If I didn't want to ride an Airship as means for transportation I'll use Chocobo to ride there * I always love the Chocobo Music! *
I do wish they can get over that Tired of it phase if you don't like that immersion ride, Wow has that doesn't it? heh....
